Celebrity photographer Annie Leibovitz came to Louisa May Alcott’s Orchard House in Concord, NH, last week, to film and narrate for a Kickstarter campaign for the historic homestead, according to the Boston Globe.

Leibovitz, famous for her photographs of celebrities, is a major supporter of Orchard House.
The Alcott home is featured, along with the Emily Dickinson house in Amherst, Henry David Thoreau’s cabin at Walden Pond, and Ralph Waldo Emerson’s place in Concord, in Leibovitz’s book, “Pilgrimage.”
Also participating in the Kickstarter campaign, which officially launches Sept. 17: Doris Kearns Goodwin, and Gloria Steinem.
