Wizz Air inaugurates Tel Aviv-Prague route

Three weekly flights will operate with one-way fares starting from €59.99.

Low-cost airline Wizz Air today inaugurated its new route from Tel Aviv to Prague in the Czech Republic. Wizz Air will operate three weekly flights from Ben Gurion International Airport to and from the Czech capital on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays with one-way fares starting from €59.99.

Wizz Air corporate communications director Daniel de Carvalho said, “We are encouraged by the great response from Israeli consumers who are really embracing Wizz Air’s low fares in an unprecedented scale as already over 6, 000 passengers have booked our new service. Wizz Air is committed to providing air routes at unbelievable low fares to Israeli consumers and their visitors, offering 9 routes in just over one year since entering the Israeli market.”

In addition to the Prague flights, Wizz Air already operates flights from Tel Aviv – to Budapest in Hungary, Bucharest and Cluj-Napoca in Romania, Vilnius in Lithuania, and Warsaw and Katowice in Poland. Wizz Air will begin flights between Tel Aviv and Lviv, Ukraine next month, and between Tel Aviv and Sofia in May.
