Alecia Beth Moore, a.k.a. Pink, who today is aged 34, is a recording artist who has been around for a long time, mainly because her talent has transcended the ephemeral demands of mere fashion. With sales of over 45 million of her albums she has the track record to prove it.
Eleven years ago, she bought a house in the Sherman Oaks neighbourhood of Los Angeles for a couple of million dollars. Since she has reportedly spent little time there in recent years, now it is on the market, for the second time, and at a reduced asking price of just under US$3.5 million – a nice profit if she can get it.
With 4 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms and gated entry, built in the Spanish it is an attractive property. Even the pool has a private grotto and waterfall beside it for contemplation after a stressful day.

Alecia Moore was born on in Pennsylvania in 1979, to Judith (née Kugel), who was a nurse, and Jewish, and Jim Moore, a Vietnam war veteran who is Catholic. Accordingly she has ancestors who came from Ireland, Germany and Lithuania.
Her parents divorced before she was ten years old. Pink has said of that scene herself, “My household was World War III. My parents hated each other. I mean I knew what divorce was and what it meant before I really knew what marriage meant.”
Not surprisingly perhaps, she suffered from asthma from an early age, only growing out of it as a teenager when she also found her voice as a singer – and indeed it is possible the two may not be unrelated.

Today she is married to motocross racer Carey Hart, and they have a two year old daughter, Willow Sage Hart.
Pink started her musical career as a member of the girl group Choice, before beginning her solo career with in 2000 with the single “There You Go.” The song was also included on her first album, Can’t Take Me Home, released later that year.
Since then Pink has become one of the most successful artists of her generation, selling over 45 million albums, and 65 million singles, worldwide.
