In a game-changing moment for the future of autonomous finance, Israeli startup Anchor—the revolutionary free-to-use Autonomous Billing & Collections platform—has secured a massive $20 million Series A funding round. The round was led by former NBA star Andre Iguodala’s Mosaic General Partnership, the powerhouse behind investments in Uber, Robinhood, Mercury, Taboola, Hippo, and Coinbase, alongside renowned investor Oren Zeev of Zeev Ventures, known for backing Audible, Houzz, Duda, and Next Insurance.

With this latest funding, Anchor is poised for explosive growth—planning to double its workforce within the next year, expand aggressively in the U.S. market, and deepen strategic partnerships. Riding on a staggering 500% growth surge in 2024, Anchor is set to redefine the future of autonomous billing, transforming how businesses handle payments on a global scale.

Founded in 2021, Anchor gets businesses paid on time, effortlessly. Anchor’s autonomous billing solution is a cloud-based platform that redefines B2B billing, collections, and payments. By providing an end-to-end billing and collections solution, and removing all manual labor from these processes, Anchor eliminates the risks of fraud and human error in B2B payments.

For small and medium businesses (SMBs), cash flow volatility is a constant battle. With half of all U.S. B2B invoices overdue and 60% of SMBs grappling with delayed payments, financial instability threatens the very foundation of these enterprises. The problem is compounded by outdated, manual systems that make contract signing and payment collection an uphill struggle.

Anchor is changing the game. As the first platform of its kind, it offers a fully integrated, digital-first solution that streamlines every step of the process—from proposals and agreements to invoicing, billing, and payments. And the best part? Businesses can access this transformative technology at no upfront cost, empowering them to regain control of their cash flow with ease and efficiency.

“Small businesses are the beating heart of the economy, and yet too many are becoming casualties to the unnecessary manual work associated with invoicing and payments. Existing solutions can’t address the current payment challenges because they are shackled to the limiting legacy of the non-dynamic PDF era. Anchor brings a truly innovative approach, leaving behind outdated processes,” said Rom Lakritz, CEO & Co-Founder of Anchor. “We are fortunate to have industry leaders as investors supporting us on this journey, as we continue to deliver value, not just to businesses but to the broader economy they are part of.”
