The Israeli military released photographic evidence showing Hamas terrorists operating openly within a UN compound in Gaza. The terrorists were filmed at an UNRWA – UN Relief Work Agency for Palestinians – complex in Rafah in southern Gaza.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) reported the evidence was taken during an activity by forces of its Givati Infantry Brigade on Saturday east of Rafah, in which Hamas terrorists were identified in the central logistics complex of the UNRWA agency next to UN vehicles.
In the documentation, said the IDF, a number of terrorists can be seen near UN vehicles and in the area of the organization’s logistics warehouse compound, which are a central axis for the distribution of aid on its behalf in the Gaza Strip – and are shooting at the organization’s compound in East Rafah.

The UNRWA’s logistics warehouse compound in eastern Rafah, is a central point for UNRWA’s aid distribution in Gaza. Terrorists are seen armed inside the compound, alongside UN vehicles and shooting at civilians right outside.
Yet, the UN continues to accuse the IDF of interfering with the deliveries of humanitarian aid in Gaza.
The IDF revealed this information after the UN made allegations that Israeli forces killed a UN worker in Gaza yesterday. In addition, the footage comes months after the Israeli government documented that a number of Hamas operatives had worked for UNWRA in Gaza, and some of them even took part in the October 7 massacre.
The Israeli agency COGAT – Coordination of Government Activities in the Territories: the West Bank and towards the Gaza Strip, sated, “Following the event of which terrorists were seen armed inside an UNRWA logistics compound in eastern Rafah, we conveyed the findings to senior officials in the international community and called on the UN to conduct an urgent investigation into the matter.”
COGAT further reported that embedded inside an UNRWA school in Nusierat, central Gaza, was a Hamas war room. The war room was used by terrorist operatives in Hamas’ military wing.
The IDF “precisely struck” the area in order to “minimize harm” to uninvolved civilians, it said, adding that 10 Hamas operatives were eliminated.
“What were terrorists doing INSIDE an UNRWA logistics compound and alongside UN vehicles?” asked COGAT.
This is a question that people will be asking Israel’s detractors in the coming days. Along with why has the UN not done anything about this.
