Dave Portnoy, the owner of Barstool Sports, says the NFL’s Kansas City Chiefs are becoming more and more like the big New England Patriots dynasty when Tom Brady was the team’s quarterback. Meanwhile, Barstool Sports canceled its Barstool Radio.
On Monday Dace Portnoy announced the end of Barstool Radio with a simple Tweet that read “Attention everybody. Barstool Radio is canceled until further notice.” No further explanation was given.
While he did not give a reason for this at the time, Dave Portnoy later gave an interview on video in which he explained how he felt that the show’s hosts were simply bad at their jobs.

Kelly Keegs, one of the Barstool Radio hosts, lamented the closure tweeting, “Sad. I wanted to turn Barstool Radio into something fun and positive for us all. Everyone else just wants to stay at each other’s throats nonstop. I’m not that girl. I’ve got one weekly fight in me, at best.”
Apparently, Dave Portnoy thought this was really funny as he responded to the Tweet by saying, “In honor of being fair to both sexes at Barstool I must say this is top 3 most delusional tweets I’ve ever seen and I don’t know what the other 2 are off the top of my head.”
As for the Kansas City Chiefs, Dave Portnoy really thinks that their quarterback Patrick Mahomes next month could win his third Super Bowl title and he is only 38 years old.
“As the keeper of the Patriots Dynasty,” he declared, “it is totally fair to start comparing the Chiefs to the Pats. They aren’t there yet but the comparisons can fairly begin”
