Ezra Miller will not have to go to jail. According to a report made by Deadline, The Flash star has entered into a plea deal over felony burglary charges in which he can remain a free man (or not – Miller identifies as non-binary) and pay just a $692 fine and get a 90 day suspended sentence.

In August, Ezra Miller was arrested in Vermont and charged with felony burglary over the theft of several bottles of liquor from a private home. Just like in the movies, his story keeps getting sequels.

Ezra Miller allegedly took the alcohol from the home when the owners were away. They filed a police report and surveillance videos reportedly showed enough evidence to charge Miller with the crime. At the time he pled not guilty to one count of burglary and one count of petty larceny in Vermont Superior Court and accepted the court-imposed conditions of not contacting or entering the home of the inhabitants.

According to the Vermont State Police, the alleged incident happened at a residence in Stamford on May 1. “The initial findings indicated that several bottles of alcohol were taken from within the residence while the homeowners were not present,” they said in their report. “As a result of an investigation that included surveillance videos and statements, probable cause was found to charge Ezra M. Miller with the offense of felony burglary into an unoccupied dwelling.”

According to Deadline, under the charge of trespassing, Miller would be forced to pay a penalty of $692. Vermont’s penalty for such a crime is to be “imprisoned not more than 3 months or fined not more than $500.00 or both.” The extra $192 is apparently for other charges.

Now 30 years old, Ezra Matthew Miller was born in New Jersey to a Jewish father and a Christian mother and identifies as a spiritual Jew. He began learning opera at the age of six and sang with the Metropolitan Opera. The actor identifies as non-binary – not being either male or female – and has never been married.

In recent months, Ezra Miller has been accused of grooming and “brainwashing” an underage girl and then “kidnapping” her when she came of age, as well as leading his own personal cult. He was also accused of assaulting a woman in Berlin in February. And a Massachusetts family received a restraining order against Ezra Miller who they say had an inappropriate relationship with their then 11-year-old son who is now 12.

In August Ezra Miler released a statement in which he tried to apologize for his bizarre and possibly criminal activities of late, blaming everything on his psychological issues.

“Having recently gone through a time of intense crisis, I now understand that I am suffering complex mental health issues and have begun ongoing treatment,” said Miller.

“I want to apologize to everyone that I have alarmed and upset with my past behavior. I am committed to doing the necessary work to get back to a healthy, safe and productive stage in my life,” added the Flash star.
