Cyber security is more important than ever. Hackers are not only motivated by money or politics. They often just like being malicious. So even small companies need to be on their guard and be sure to properly protect their systems.
And this also explains why cyber security companies like Talon are continuing to bring in the big bucks, even at a time when their fellow Startup Nations firms are making cutbacks.
Talon Cyber Security was founded in February 2029 by CEO Ofer Ben-Noon and Ohad Bobrov. The duo are both veterans of the Israeli Defense Forces’ vaunted 8200 intelligence unit. And both have successfully started new companies in the past.
In October 2021, Talon launched the first secure browser for enterprises, TalonWork, which enables enterprise companies to effectively manage a hybrid workforce without having to compromise security, employee experience or privacy. The company says that with its built-in enterprise-grade cyber security tech, TalonWork provides advanced data leakage protection and high granularity of control into all web in-app activities.
Ofer Ben-Noon said, “We have built the team and technology to redefine and power security for the future of work – a future where security is delivered naturally through the enterprise’s most heavily used application: the browser. The world and the applications the Global 2000 rely on are moving to the web, creating a dire need for a vehicle that can provide secure access without changing the way work is conducted.”
Talon was named the winner of the Innovation Sandbox Contest at RSA Conference 2022 and was also voted as the favorite startup by Globes readers as part of the Most Promising Startups of 2021 rankings.
