Mark Cuban has found an original and quite insidious way to respond to all the angry Dallas Mavericks fans who berate his NBA team with negative “troll” comments on Twitter. Believe it or not, he actually “likes” their Tweets – likes as in clicks on the “like” button.

Born to a Jewish family in Pittsburgh in 1958, Mark Cuban has owned the Dallas Mavericks since 2000. He immediately gained a reputation for being one of America’s most vocal and controversial owners of a pro sports team along with Jerry Bus of the NBA’s LA Lakers and George Steinbrenner who owned the New York Yankees. However, all three turned losing teams into big winners.

But in Mark Cuban’s case his inability to keep his mouth shut has led to upwards of $2 million in fines from the NBA for various comments that he made and actions that Cuban took while watching his team play from courtside seats.

This may explain why this time he decided to just sarcastically like all those negative comments instead of responding with some kind of witty comment of his own. The latest round of attacks on Mark Cuban came from Dallas Mavericks fans who were disappointed in their team’s failure to snag a big free agent.

Here are just a few examples of angry Tweets that Mark Cuban liked:

“I’m not the cynic dumbass, Mark Cuban is.”

“Hey guys, have you ever been so smart that you’ve had generational talents on your roster for the last 25 years and managed to repeatedly f%#k it up outside of one season? If so your name is probably Mark Cuban.”

“Mark Cuban is the worst owner in all sports.”

“Mark Cuban you guys absolutely suck.”

“Sell the team.”

“I’m envisioning my ands tightening around Mark Cuban’s throat.”

Now, that last one borders on a criminal threat and in that case no one would have begrudged it if Mark Cuban had filed a complaint over it with Twitter.

According to his biography as listed by the television show Shark Tank, Mark Cuban is an investor who lives for his family, his Shark Tank companies and the Dallas Mavericks. He is the owner of the 2011 World Champion Dallas Mavericks and bestselling author of How to Win at the Sport of Business, and was an entrepreneur from the early age of 12 when he sold garbage bags door to door. Today, Cuban is the highly successful entrepreneur and investor with an ever-growing portfolio of businesses.

Named a winner of the GQ Men of the Year in 2006 and included in The New York Times Magazine’s Year in Ideas, Cuban is recognized as being among the most influential people in both the cable and sports industries. He may be best known for his purchase of the Dallas Mavericks on January 4, 2000. Under his leadership, the team’s home games have become a total entertainment experience. Despite initial criticism, he added much more to the usual game-day experience options, like the Mavericks ManiAACs. His successful efforts have brought a sense of pride and passion to the fans.
