Webhelp, Europe’s largest call center management company and one of the world’s top four in its area, is establishing operations in Israel.
The Israeli office is expected to hire 500 employees within a year is led by Einat Benjamini, who established Golan Telecom’s operation.
The company has already rented office space in Tel Aviv’s Alon Towers but is seeking a larger site for its planned service center.

Although Webhelp was sold in 2019 for 2.4 billion euros to a private Belgian fund Groupe Bruxelles Lambert (GLB), the founders Frédéric Jousset and Olivier Duha continue to lead the company.

These centers offer services in more than 30 different languages. Each center may provide services in a variety of different languages. Webhelp founded in 2000 originally offered real-time IT support services, before expanding into call center operations and business support. In 2011 Charterhouse Capital Partners, a private equity firm established in London, become the main investor in the company which was acquired in 2019.
Webhelp becom the largest BPO (business process outsourcing) supplier in Europe. BPO outsources corporate functions such as contact centers, customer service, social media, technical assistance, human resource management (payroll and employing temporary or permanent personnel), and technical services such as telephone, videoconferencing, voice-chatbots, and artificial intelligence.
