Israeli startup AgroScout offers an AI cloud platform for remote agronomy. The company has completed a Series A investment round of $7.5 million led by Kibbutz Yotvata. Other investors include dAgriline (a trust of which Vincent Tchenguiz is a discretionary beneficiary), Kibbutz Yiron, and The Trendlines Group.
The AgroScout platform allows all growers – from the biggest to the smallest – to efficiently comply with the rising demand for sustainable crop protection and carbon accountability. AgroScout says that it wants to bring its tech to the current 500 million mostly unserved farms worldwide.

Founded in 2017, AgroScout’s autonomous scouting system uses “cutting-edge, deep learning algorithms based on artificial intelligence to allow quick, efficient detection, identification, and monitoring of crop diseases throughout the entire field.” The system inputs data from drones, cameras, and other sources to identify diseases. Cloud-based information is available anytime, anywhere.

The AgroScout platform collects data to create powerful analytics for actionable insights in crop management.
