Three Times Square in Manhattan is about to get a new face. The building owned by Rudin Management is going to have an entirely new façade and entranceway. Usually people wait until they are middle aged to get a facelift, but this building is only 20 years old.
The building opened in 202 and was the home of Reuters Group PLC. The new renovations are expected to cost $25 million. They are designed by FXCollaborative. The changes are being made, in part, to lure new tenants. The building will soon lose a number of tenants including Bank of Montreal and FTI Consulting.
The 30 story building is located on 7th avenue between 42nd and 43rd Streets. It stands above the iconic Times Square and offers skyline and Hudson River views with a 28,000 to 35,000 square foot center-core, column-free floor plates, has received WiredScore Platinum certification in recognition of its best-in-class connectivity, and features Nantum OS, the world’s most advanced building operating system.
