Aura Air, an Israeli air purification tech startup, has supplied buses in the UK and Ireland with its new purification system which can clean the air of the Coronavirus. Four hundred former tourist buses in the countries have been refitted to be used for frontline workers reports The Media Line.
Founded by its CEO Aviad Shnaider and CTO Eldar Shnaider, Aura Air provides what it describes as an all-in-one indoor air purification and quality intelligence system. Aura boasts that this filters and disinfects indoor air through a unique 5 stage purification process while “vigilantly” monitoring its quality in real-time.
When hazards are detected, Aura alerts you immediately, providing crucial intelligence as to the origin of the problem, solutions of how to rectify it, and alarms if immediate action or evacuation is required. While keeping you informed of the conditions inside your home, Aura also monitors outdoor air quality, providing you a holistic picture of today and what’s to come tomorrow.

The company’s patented and EPA-approved Sterionizer and Ray Filter, as well as ultra-violet light LEDs, targets and disinfects indoor air from bacteria, viruses, fungus, mold, odors and more. There is also a pre-filter which catches large particles of dust, pollen, insects, animal hair and other large particles.
The Sterionizer generates positive and negative ions that purify and freshen indoor air by eliminating harmful pollutants. It neutralizes bacteria, viruses, and parasites by destroying the proteins on the cell membrane.

The company explains that indoor air is up to five times more polluted than the air outdoors. And most people spend up to 90% of their time inside, whether at home, at work, in a store or on public transportation.
If you want to test your home or the inside of buses for contaminants in the air you can use Israeli startup BreezoMeter’s air quality monitoring platform to do so. Or you could use Crispify’s patent pending system for “all-in-one air quality management” which it says monitors all factors of a ride. The Israeli startup’s tech can check for Cronavirus.
