Demolition for Solow Management Corp’s 12 West 57th Street continues. New York Yimby has reported that the demolition is now halfway completed.
Located across the street from Solow’s main building 9 West 57th, 12 West 57th Street is a new 52 story condo development of 80 units designed by Skidmore, Owings and Merrill. It will rise 672 feet into the air.
The company is currently in the process of demolishing the old buildings located along numbers 10 to 20 West 57th Street. As of now one of three structures scheduled for demolishing is already gone.

While devoted to condos, 12 West 57th will be a multi-use building. It will have 202,738 square feet of residential space and 180,396 square feet for commercial use including a hotel and retail shops.
