The Pardo Palace in Madrid, which serves as Government of Spain’s guest house, has installed a unique Israeli technology to purify its air from all sorts of virus,, including the Corona Virus.
The device is small in size, measuring just 15X15 inches (38X38 cm), but it can monitor, analyze, and purify the air in an average room at a rate of 2.5 times per hour. The Spanish Monarchy can now provide their distinguished guests in a safe environment with clean and pure air.
A study conducted at Israeli Sheba Hospital found that the system is able to kill 99.9% of viruses in the air, including the coronavirus.

The technology, developed by Israeli company Aura Air, is based on special algorithms and sensors that check all the particles in the air, detect unusual phenomena or a dangerous increase in pollution, purify the air, and return it to the room.
In addition, the system checks the temperature, humidity, amount of carbon dioxide, organic gases, and more. It also predicts future scenarios regarding enclosed hazards or air quality problems.
For example, it detects a fire in a room even before there is smoke, by detecting a high level of burnt plastic molecules and carbon dioxide that characterize the phenomenon.
Aura Air’s system performs simultaneous and real-time measurements of the air inside and outside the room to provide recommendations and insights regarding air quality management.
Founded in 2018 by the brothers Aviad and Eldar Schneiderman, Aura Air raised $3 million from Merhavia Holdings and AY Electronics, the owner of Shiratech Solutions lead by Yaniv Rod, the company’s major investor, which is also responsible for the production of the systems.
The company has 14 employees, and manufactures the system in Israel in collaboration with Beit El Industries.
Aura Air systems are sold online to private households as well as hospitals, schools, offices, train stations in Israel and Europe.
Aura Air is about to introduce a mobile version, a personal air purification system which is the size of a mobile phone but is able to purify a full 10 cubic meters “air bubble” around the user. The filter destroys the COVID-19 and allows people to protect themselves while they are in close places such airplanes, buses or big events in close venues.
