LionBird announce an initial closing of $20 million financing for LionBird I. The fund will enable LionBird to continue to invest in and support promising startups utilizing online tools to meaningfully improve traditional offline processes in healthcare, commerce and the business enterprise.
From this new fund, LionBird will partner with 20-25 startups, making initial investments ranging from $200, 000 to $750, 000 per company, depending on stage. The investments will primarily be within Round A financings, with select seed and follow-on investments.
With relevant entrepreneurial and Fortune 100 senior executive experience, the LionBird team offers its portfolio companies guidance and support required to scale early-stage startups into leading global corporations.
The fund’s Limited Partners are private investors from financial services, real estate, bio-med and various other industries.
