An 11-year-old Boy from Nigeria Works of Art gets Worldwide Recognition - WASPA ART/ INSTAGRAM
Kareem Waris Olamilekan, an 11-year-old boy from a poor neighborhood in Lagos, Nigeria, produces incredibly hyperrealistic works of art. The world watches stunning.

Olamilekan began drawing at the age of six and turned professional at eight.

He uses a pencil to create all the detailed portraits of his family, friends, neighbors and notable figures, according to My Modern Met.

Sometimes he uses a ballpoint pen and pastels into his drawings.

He says his artistic inspiration comes from old masters like Michelangelo and a local artist like the Nigerian Arinze Stanley Egbengwu.

The youngest artist of Nigeria managed to produce a stunning portrait of French President Emmanuel Macron in just two hours. Macron visited Fela Kuti’s New Africa Shrine in Lagos on July 3.
