Google will no longer allow ads about cryptocurrency-related content, including initial coin offerings, wallets, and trading advice across any of its advertising platforms, Google’s director of sustainable ads, Scott Spencer, told CNBC.
The move follows a similar ban by Facebook earlier this year. The timing coincides with a congressional hearing on ICOs and crypto assets.
