Following a meeting with his top military officials, while President Donald Trump was standing for a formal photo with first lady Melania and his military leaders and their spouses at the White House on Thursday evening, Trump asked the group of reporters:

“Tell us,” shouted out one of the reporters.
“It could be the calm before the storm,” he added
Reporters asked if the storm was related to Iran or ISIS.
At the time of this surprising remark, The Washington Post reported Trump’s plans to say that he will decertify the landmark international deal to curb Iran’s nuclear program, a step that potentially could cause the 2015 accord to unravel.
If Trump declines to certify Iran’s compliance, US congressional leaders would have 60 days to decide whether to reimpose sanctions on Tehran suspended under the agreement.

We have the world’s greatest military people in this room, I will tell you that. And uh, we’re gonna have a great evening,” he added.
He then looked at the people standing on either side of him at the entrance to the State Dining Room, and said: “Thank you all for coming, thank you.”
One of the reporters again asked: “What storm, Mr. President?”
Trump responded: “You’ll find out.”
