In anticipation of the split of Channel 2 this November, each of the franchisees will move to a new channel and broadcast seven days a week, with Keshet moving to channel 12 and Reshet to channel 13. The Big Brother Israel was aired for 8 seasons in Keshet TV. About three years ago Endemol, the company holding the rights to the Big Brother format in Israel, acquired 33% ofReshet TV’s shares and as a result decided to transfer the popular reality show to Reshet.
