Drottningholm Palace has long been rumored to house ghosts. Its spectral inhabitants purportedly include a “gray man” and a “white lady, ” according to this 2010 column in Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet (in Swedish).

The Queen claims she isn’t in the least bit scared of her co-inhabitants, who she says she has personally been in the presence of.

“You don’t get scared, it’s as friendly as there is. Imagine what they could tell?” she noted.

Princess Christina, the King’s sister reportedly add in the documentary “There is much energy in this house. It would be strange if it didn’t take the form of guises. There’s stories about ghosts in all old houses. They have been filled with people over the centuries. The energies remain.”
