Shandling died unexpectedly on March 24 at the age of 66. He was the comedic genius behind two completely original comedy series: “Its The Gary Shandling Show” from the 1980s and “The Larry Sanders Show” from the 1990s. The latter show was a behind the scenes look of what its really like making a late night talk show.

TMZ gained access to Gary Shandling‘s autopsy report. The report stated that a clot which had formed in Shandling’s leg traveled to his heart. The comic also had an enlarged heart. He suffered from leg pains and shortness of breath the day before he died.
Gary Shandling also had Xanax, oxycodone and hydrocodone in his system.
