Jill Stein has taken her recount efforts in the State of Pennsylvania to the Federal Courts after she was forced to drop her efforts there on the local level.
But the Green Party candidate for President in the 2016 elections does not have the support of her party and her continued efforts are leaving a lot of people scratching their heads.

Apparently, the reason for turning to the courts was that Jill Stein was required by a state judge to put up a $1 million bond for the recount in Pennsylvania. But her supporters could not afford this. It has been widely reported that Stein has put up more money for her recount efforts than she spent on her entire campaign.
“We are committed to this fight to protect the civil and voting rights of all Americans, ” Jonathan Abady, lead counsel for the recount campaign, said in a statement. “Over the past several days, it has become clear that the barriers to verifying the vote in Pennsylvania are so pervasive and that the state court system is so ill-equipped to address this problem that we must seek federal court intervention.”

She is also promoting a rally in front of Trump Tower in New York to support the recounts.
