Anthony Weiner did not just lose his wife Huma Abeden over his sexting habits. The disgraced former Congressman may also be looking at a jail sentence as an indictment against him for sex crimes is now a serious possibility.
A grand jury is set to convene to consider indicting Anthony Weiner on charges that could include sexual exploitation of children, which can land Weiner in jail for a minimum of 15 years and a maximum of 30.

Federal investigators have interviewed the 15 year old girl whom Anthony Weiner allegedly sent sexually suggestive texts, The New York Daily News has reported. The girl, who lives in North Carolina, has said that Weiner encouraged her to play out rape fantasies with him.
It was after these texts were revealed in September that Huma Abeden, who is a top adviser to Hillary Clinton, finally left her husband. Somehow she stayed with Weiner even after he was caught sexting other women for a second time when the former congressman ran for Mayor of New York three years ago.
At the time, The Manhattan U.S. Attorney’s office issued a subpoena for Weiner’s cell phone and text records.
It has been revealed that the FBI is cooperating with local authorities in both New York City and North Carolina in their investigation.
