According to a statement by promoter Shuki Weiss, British singer Sir Elton John would be including Israel on his Wonderful Crazy Night Tour 2016, marking the release of his 33rd studio album of the same name. Wonderful Crazy Night, will include dozens of performances across the United States and Europe. His newest album was recorded in less than three weeks in Los Angeles studios in partnership with singer T Bone Burnett.
The 68 years-old pop icon’s 2016 world tour will begin in February. His performance in Israel will take place in Yarkon Park in Tel Aviv on May 26.

“We chose to hold the show in the park in the tradition of some of Elton’s biggest shows in recent years, including this year’s appearance on the grass at the New Orleans Jazz Festival and last year’s headlining show at the Bonnaroo Festival, ” said Weiss, who promised the highest production standards and comfort for the audience.
John’s band will include longtime members guitarist Davey Johnstone, drummer Nigel Olsson, bassist Matt Bissonette, percussionist John Mahon and pianist Kim Bullard – and the set list will include number of new tracks from the latest album as well as some of the well-known songs like “Your Song, ” “Tiny Dancer” and “Goodbye Yellow Brick Road.”
