Entertainment Whether actor-comedian Bill Cosby will be tried on charges that he sexually assaulted a woman in the Playboy Mansion in 2008 is up to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office.
They claim their reputations were damaged when Cosby representatives told news organizations their allegations are “fabricated”. However, Cosby’s lawyers reportedly claimed that the remarks were personal opinions protected by the First Amendment and legal declarations made in the comedian’s defense.

Gloria Allred has 19 clients who say Cosby assaulted them under similar circumstances. Allred would only confirm yesterday that Huth, 57, who will give her deposition Thursday – also at a site Allred would not disclose – was not present. A judge ruled that the statute of limitations on civil suits did not apply in Huth’s case because her alleged injuries had appeared recently.
