Thursday morning: An Iranian passenger flight made an emergency landing after part of an engine on the Boeing 747 fell off.
The Mahan Air plane, with 426 passengers and crew on board, landed safely at Tehran’s Mehrabad Airport, two minutes after takeoff when, “A piece of engine number three came off and hit the body of the plane.”
