Ashley Madison Update: ‘Suicides’ over website hack ; Two lawsuits filed in US, Canada

  • Two individuals associated with the leak of Ashley Madison customer details are reported to have taken their lives, according to police in Canada.

The police in Toronto gave no further information about the deaths.

         Now reveals that Canadian police are investigating reports that two Ashley Madison customers committed suicide after hackers published                   their  details online. Officers said they had also received reports of criminals trying to extort money from users of the site.

  • Avid Life Media was sued in Canada last week in a class-action suit that seeks $760 million in damages.
  • Hackers recently leaked the inbox of Ashley Madison CEO Noel Biderman. Turns out Noel and his cronies have done some hacking of their own. The emails reveal that the company’s CTO hacked into a competing dating site back in November 2012. Biderman even asked him to steal emails.
