Iran has dismissed a German official’s call that it recognize Israel’s right to exist, claiming its stance on the matter would not change following a historic nuclear accord that was signed with world powers.
“We have totally different views from Germany on certain regional issues in the Middle East and we have explicitly expressed our viewpoints in different negotiations, ” Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Marziyeh Afkham was quoted by the Fars news agency as saying on Monday.
