You can now search for hashtags, locations and user accounts directly through the Instagram website. This makes several third party services which offer such searches obsolete.
The new feature can be found as a search bar at the top of the Instagram webpage.
It is interesting that the company would go to the effort to improve the features on its website, given that it is known for being an app used on mobile devices.
