In a stunning move that cements its position as a rising force in cybersecurity, Israeli startup Dream Security—also known as Dream AI—has secured a massive $100 million Series B funding round, propelling its valuation to a staggering $1.1 billion, hitting the coveted unicorn status. The company, founded by former operatives of the controversial Israeli firm NSO Group and a former Austrian Chancellor, has drawn the backing of industry giant Bain Capital Ventures, which led the round. Additional heavyweight investors, including Group 11, Tru Arrow, Tau Capital, and Aleph, have also placed their bets on Dream’s vision. Armed with this fresh influx of capital, Dream is poised to supercharge its product innovation and extend its global reach, setting the stage for its next chapter of dominance in the cybersecurity landscape.

Dream AI was established in 2022 by the former NSO Group CEO Shalev Hulio, former Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurz and Gil Dolev, formerly of Adallom, NSO and Israel’s Prime Ministers Office. Dream AI boasts that its platform is designed to create a unified security system, safeguarding critical assets from both existing cyber attacks and future generative cyber threats. The platform focuses on identifying and prioritizing actions for the mysterious “unknowns” of cyber threats.

In just two years since its founding, Dream AI has amassed more than $130 million in annual sales in 2024 to governments and national cybersecurity organizations, proving its critical role in global cyber defense.

Dream’s nation-level platform combines both the AI and cybersecurity domains to protect critical assets from the sophisticated attacks of today, and the generative threats of tomorrow. Leveraging the advanced capabilities of AI, not merely as an instrument, but as the foundational architecture of our strategic methodology, Dream is rewriting the cyber landscape with a category-defining AI platform.

“Sophisticated cyber-attacks on our critical infrastructure are increasing in both prevalence and complexity,” said Sebastian Kurz, co-founder and President of Dream. “During my time as Prime Minister I saw firsthand how these attacks can cause real human damage, and have the capacity to disrupt society at large. By founding Dream, we are on a mission to empower nations against what is the defining national security concern of our era.”
