The Coalition for Regional Security, an influential assembly of over 100 prominent Israeli leaders from security, diplomacy, and business, has issued an urgent plea to President Donald Trump: take decisive action to reshape the Middle East. The coalition demands bold U.S. leadership to ensure Israel fulfills the entirety of the hostage deal and advances to the transformative Abraham Shield Plan. This sweeping blueprint promises to redefine regional dynamics—securing lasting peace, neutralizing looming threats, and forging an unprecedented alliance through normalization between Israel and Saudi Arabia while charting a course toward separation from the Palestinians. The stakes, they argue, could not be higher.

Marking his inauguration the day after the first release of Israeli hostages as part of the current ceasefire-hostage deal, the Coalition for Regional Security sent President Donald J. Trump its Abraham Shield Plan. This comprehensive strategy outlines a bold roadmap to stabilize the Middle East, neutralize regional threats, and secure lasting peace and prosperity for Israel and the region.

The plan seeks to capitalize on the momentum generated by Israel’s military achievements and the unfolding hostage and ceasefire deal to reshape the region’s security framework, foster economic integration, and establish a durable alliance between Israel and moderate Arab states.

“Your leadership is pivotal in this decisive moment,” the letter to Trump states. “The momentum created by Israel’s unprecedented military achievements and the emerging hostage and ceasefire deal presents a unique opportunity to unite Israel and moderate Arab states into a powerful alliance. Together, we can establish an unbreachable ‘iron shield’ against Iran and its proxies while crafting a new regional order that secures Israel’s future and advances shared interests.”

The Abraham Shield Plan includes six key pillars of action:
Stabilizing Gaza: Secure the release of all hostages, end the war, and establish a technocratic transitional government supported by regional allies to oversee Gaza’s reconstruction and de-Hamasification.
Neutralizing Hezbollah: Enforce a “zero violations” policy in southern Lebanon, strengthen the Lebanese Army, and stabilize its government.
Creating a Syrian buffer zone: Prevent Iranian entrenchment, stabilize Syria, and establish it as a strategic buffer against the Iranian axis.
Fast-tracking Saudi normalization: Deepen the “Abraham Alliance” through immediate normalization with Saudi Arabia and expanded cooperation with moderate Arab states.
Blocking Iran’s nuclear ambitions: Implement a “Blockade Plan” led by the “Abraham Alliance” to isolate Iran and counter its regional influence.
Advancing Israeli-Palestinian separation: Develop a gradual, secure, and sustainable separation framework backed by regional collaboration.
Polling data presented to Trump underscores strong Israeli public support for this approach. A January survey conducted by the Coalition revealed that 72.5% of Israelis favor a U.S.-led initiative under Trump’s leadership to achieve hostage returns, Saudi normalization, Palestinian separation, and a regional security coalition against Iran.

“The Abraham Shield Plan represents bold leadership and transformative change, offering a framework to reimagine the future of the Middle East,” said Brigadier General (Res.) Udi Dekel, a founding partner of the Coalition for Regional Security and former head of Israel’s negotiating team with the Palestinians. “By turning crises into opportunities, we can build a region defined by stability, prosperity, and enduring peace. President Trump’s leadership is essential to realizing this vision and seizing this historic moment.”

Lianne Pollak-David, a founding partner of the Coalition for Regional Security and former advisor in Israel’s National Security Council, added, “The approach of ‘managing the conflict’ has failed. By pursuing a bold regional strategy anchored in separation from the Palestinians and partnership with moderate Arab states, Israel can achieve normalization with Saudi Arabia and create a historic ‘Abraham Alliance.’ This is the only viable path to ensure Israel’s future as a secure, Jewish, and democratic state while advancing regional stability.”

The Coalition for Regional Security, established a year after October 7, represents a broad and diverse group of public figures, experts, and opinion leaders in security, diplomacy, business, high-tech, economics, and research who have joined together to ensure the security of the State of Israel in the Middle East through the Abraham Shield Plan.

The Coalition aligns a range of organizations, research institutes, and think tanks that believe in the need for a new political-security vision that incorporates military, political, and economic power. We are committed to leveraging the current regional opportunity as a key pathway in Israel’s journey to a secure future.
