Donald Trump Vows Legal Action Against Google Over Alleged Bias

Trump thinks that Google is somehow guilty of a federal crime because, in Trump’s opinion, its search engine provides users with mostly favorable stories about his opponent

Former President Donald Trump is now threatening to launch a federal prosecution against Google should he return to office. Of course he is. Trump thinks that Google is somehow guilty of a federal crime because, in Trump’s opinion, its search engine provides users with mostly favorable stories about his opponent Vice-President Kamala Harris, and negative ones about himself.

Donald Trump has not considered the possibility that, if true, maybe this is because he has done so many negative things – like threatening to prosecute his political opponents and private companies that do not do what he demands.

“It has been determined that Google has illegally used a system of only revealing and displaying bad stories about Donald J. Trump, some made up for this purpose while, at the same time, only revealing good stories about Comrade Kamala Harris,” Donald Trump wrote in a post on his failing Truth Social that was intended to compete with Twitter.

“This is an ILLEGAL ACTIVITY, and hopefully the Justice Department will criminally prosecute them for this blatant Interference of Elections,” the former President added. “If not, and subject to the Laws of our Country, I will request their prosecution, at the maximum levels, when I win the Election, and become President of the United States!”

Google denies Trump’s allegations. The company said in response “Both [Harris and Trump] campaign websites consistently appear at the top of search for relevant and common search queries.”

None of this should come as a surprise to anyone. After all, Trump is someone who says that all of his opponents are guilty of treason.

Just a few weeks ago Donald Trump threatened to prosecute just about everyone should believe there was any attempt to interfere in the November election by his opponents, as he still falsely claims happened in 2020.

“CEASE & DESIST,” Donald Trump wrote. “I, together with many Attorneys and Legal Scholars, am watching the Sanctity of the 2024 Presidential Election very closely because I know, better than most, the rampant Cheating and Skullduggery that has taken place by the Democrats in the 2020 Presidential Election.”

“WHEN I WIN, those people that CHEATED will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the Law, which will include long term prison sentences so that this Depravity of Justice does not happen again,” he threatened.
