The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) Monday morning issued a warning to the residents of Lebanon’s southern villages to evacuate. The warning was issued because the IDF plans to launch strikes in these areas as Hezbollah terrorists are using them to hide their rockets and missiles.

IDF spokesman Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari released a video in which he presented footage of a private home in a south Lebanese village where Hezbollah hid a cruise missile. Hagari also said that early Monday morning the IDF uncovered Hezbollah’s plans to attack the citizens of the State of Israel.

“Here we are exposing Hezbollah’s method of hiding a cruise missile inside a home,” said Hagari while showing the video of the home with the missile hidden within it. “The terrorists create a designated opening for the missile launch. Here you can see how we identified the terrorists making an opening in the building that exposed the missile. In a precise strike, the IDF eliminated the terrorists and this missile launching infrastructure, shortly before the launch.”

Hagari went on to say that on Monday the IDF will engage “in extensive, precise strikes, against terror targets which have been embedded widely throughout Lebanon.”

“We advise civilians from Lebanese villages located in and next to buildings and areas used by Hezbollah for military purposes, such as those used to store weapons, to immediately move out of harm’s way for their own safety,” he added.

Hagari called on anyone who is near properties or inside homes in Lebanon where Hezbollah hides weapons, “to move away from them immediately.”

“This is for your safety and protection,” he said. “Hezbollah endangers you and your families. Hezbollah is planning to launch these weapons towards the territory of the State of Israel, stay away from them immediately for your own protection!”

The IDF, on Saturday night, implemented new security regulations for the entire north of Israel. In the areas north of the line that runs from Haifa to the Sea of Galilee outdoor public gatherings are limited to 30 people and indoor ones to 300. This is contingent on the availability of bomb shelters on location.

The IDF pledged to continue its assaults on Hezbollah’s terror infrastructures in Lebanon saying, “Strikes will continue and intensify against the terrorist organization Hezbollah.”

The IDF also emphasized that its defense formations are deployed in the north and are in a state of “high readiness to thwart” the continued firing of rockets by Hezbollah.
