Israelis woke up Sunday morning to a massive rocket barrage launched at the north of their country by Hezbollah terrorists based in Lebanon. At this time at least three people have been confirmed killed in the strikes.
At least 105 rockets slammed into northern Israel in two different rocket barrages.

Homes in the town of Moreshet in northern Israel were set on fire by a rocket hit.
Rambam Hospital in Haifa reported that five people wounded civilians were brought there.
Of these, three were wounded in a direct rocket hit on their home in the Haifa suburb Kiryat Bialik. They were 77, 76, and 16 years of age.
A fourth man, about 57-years-old, who lives somewhere in the Galilee area was injured during a rocket strike while he was in the Haifa area.
The fifth victim, a 17-year-old boy, was later confirmed to have been killed. He was wounded while driving on the road when an alarm sounded during a rocket attack. The exact circumstances of his death have not yet been revealed.
Reports also indicate that Israel’s air defense systems successfully shot down two cruise missiles launched from Iraq.
The Hezbollah strikes seem to be the response the organization pledged to make after several thousand of its members were wounded and a number were killed last week when their pagers exploded. The pagers – a seemingly obsolete technology – were used by Hezbollah because Israel’s security services were able to track their mobile phones in order to target their members.
Experts say this is only the beginning and that Israelis can expect more attacks.
In expectation of the Hezbollah rocket barrages, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) Saturday night implemented new security regulations for the entire north of Israel. In the areas north of the line that runs from Haifa to the Sea of Galilee outdoor public gatherings are limited to 30 people and indoor ones to 300. This is contingent on there being bomb shelters available on location.
The IDF pledged to continue its assaults on Hezbollah’s terror infrastructures in Lebanon saying, “Strikes will continue and intensify against the terrorist organization Hezbollah.”
The IDF also emphasized that its defense formations are deployed in the north and are in a state of “high readiness to thwart” the continued firing of rockets by Hezbollah.
