Israeli High-Tech Sector Drives Economy: 33%+ of National Tax Revenue | IIA Report
The Israel Innovation Authority and Israel’s Ministry of Finance’s Chief Economist’s Office released a groundbreaking report detailing the high-tech sector’s significant contribution to state revenues through income and corporate taxes. The report reveals that the sector was responsible for approximately one-quarter of all tax payments in Israel in 2020. Furthermore, high-tech employees contributed about 36% of total income tax payments in 2021.
