Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan made some shocking comments about Israel. Erdogan not only, once again, accused Israel of committing genocide in Gaza, he even went so far as to imply Turkey would use military force against Israel.

“Just as the genocidal Nazis were held accountable, those who seek to destroy the Palestinians will also be held accountable,” said Recep Erdogan in a statement released by the Turkish Foreign Ministry. “Humanity will stand with the Palestinians. You will not be able to destroy the Palestinians.”

“Those who seek to silence this just voice, especially international Zionist circles including Israel, are in a state of great panic,” said President Erdogan. “History has ended the same way for all genocidal perpetrators and their supporters.”

Recep Erdogan also threatened possible military action against Israel.

England’s The Daily Mail reported that Erdogan told members of his AK Party, ‘We must be very strong so that Israel can’t do these ridiculous things to Palestine. Just like we entered Karabakh, just like we entered Libya, we might do similar to them.”

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan supported President Erdogan posting on Twitter, “Our President has become the voice of humanity’s conscience.”

Fidan went on to use the traditionally anti-Israel trope of referring to “International Zionists” instead of using the country’s name saying, “International Zionist circles, especially Israel, who want to suppress this righteous voice, are in great alarm.”

“History ended the same way for all genocide makers and their supporters,” he added, joining those who are falsely accusing Israel of committing a genocide in Gaza.

Israel’s Foreign Minister Israel Katz condemned Erdogan’s statements, comparing the Turkish President to Saddam Hussein.

“Erdogan follows in the footsteps of Saddam Hussein and threatens to attack Israel,” Katz said on Twitter. “Just let him remember what happened there and how it ended.”

Even some European political leaders are condemning Erdogan for the remarks, even going so far as to say that Turkey should be kicked out of NATO.

Dutch right-wing leader wrote on Twitter, “Islamofascist Erdogan threatens to invade Israel. This guy is totally nuts. Turkey should be kicked out of NATO.”
