Jeffrey Katzenberg, an active donor for America’s Democratic Party and supporter of President Joe Biden, has come under fire from fellow liberal elites for his promotion of Biden’s reelection bid in spite of the President’s clearly deteriorating health. The Hollywood mogul was inundated with personal attacks in the wake of President Biden’s poor performance against Donald Trump in their first presidential debate.
Jeffrey Katzenberg, the former DreamWorks CEO, serves as co-chair of President Biden’s reelection campaign.
Entertainment publication “The Wrap” quoted a Hollywood “power broker” who said, “What Jeffrey Katzenberg has done here is unbelievable. Jeffrey lied about the whole Biden thing. The whole Biden inner circle lied… It’s such an act of hypocrisy.”

The publication also cited a “leading Hollywood Democratic insider” who said, “Everyone is furious. People are pissed – they feel betrayed.”
The Financial Times cited one sourced described only as a “Hollywood veteran” as saying, “He [Jeffrey Katzenberg] had this famous quote for everybody, which was ‘I’m happy to put you in a room with him and you’ll see for yourself.’ But nobody did it.”
Hollywood super-agent Ari Emanuel – the brother of President Barack Obama’s former White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel – criticized Joe Biden directly telling The Hollywood Reporter, “He said he was going to run for one term, and he’s doing it to restore democracy. He then runs for a second term—that’s the first bit of malarkey, as he would say. He and his cohorts have told us that he’s [been] healthy for over a year.”
And the always eloquently spoken political strategist James Carville, told The Ankler that Jeffrey Katzenberg was “pissing up a rope” when he told donors not to worry about President Joe Biden’s medical condition.
Jeffrey Katzenberg got his start as an executive at Paramount pictures. While there, he was responsible for helping to revive Star Trek and make it into a successful movie franchise. Katzenberg then served as the CEO of The Walt Disney Company. There he was involved in making the hits “Who Framed Roger Rabbit”, “The Little Mermaid,” and “Beauty and the Beast.”
In 1994 Katzenberg co-founded DreamWorks SKG with Steven Spielberg and David Geffen. He has been involved in the Shrek movies.
