In a daring and complex operation that has captured global attention, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), in collaboration with Shin Bet and the Israel Police’s elite Yamam unit, successfully rescued four Israeli hostages after 246 days in Hamas captive. The operation carried out in the heart of Nuseirat in the Gaza Strip, resulted in the safe recovery of Noa Argamani (25), Almog Meir (21), Andrey Kozlov (27), and Shlomi Ziv (40).

The meticulously planned operation was executed early Saturday morning, involving coordinated efforts from multiple Israeli security agencies. The hostages were held in two different locations, making the mission particularly challenging. Despite the complexities, Shin Bet and Yamam fighters managed to infiltrate these locations and rescue the hostages without any casualties.

Following their rescue, the hostages were immediately transported to the ‘Sheba’ Medical Center in Tel HaShomer for thorough medical examinations. Initial reports indicate that their medical condition is stable, which brings a sigh of relief to their families and the public.

Noa Argamani meets her father. She will soon also meet her hospitalized mother. The mother of Noa Argamani, Liora, pleaded with world leaders to help bring home her daughter as her stage four cancer deteriorated: “I am asking you, President Joe Biden, I don’t have a lot of time left in this world. It may be my last wish. I’m really begging you. Please help me.”

Israeli officials have praised the bravery and precision of the security forces involved in the rescue operation. “This operation highlights our unwavering commitment to bringing back all our citizens held by terrorist organizations,” an IDF spokesperson stated. The operation’s success is expected to bolster morale and strengthen the resolve of Israeli security forces in their ongoing efforts.
