North Korea has a new way of tormenting its neighbor to the South. The North is sending trash filled balloons into South Korea.
Yes! You did hear that correctly.
Do you remember those surveillance balloons the Chinese launched over American territory? Well, its kind of like that, but this has nothing to do with spying and it is being done on a much larger scale. In fact, some might accuse North Korea of engaging in a new form of biological warfare.

The South Korean Military said that it first detected the foul balloons crossing the border on Tuesday night. As of now, hundreds are said to have arrived in South Korea’s territory.
The South Korean Military’s Joint Chiefs of Staff issued a statement saying, “North Korea’s actions clearly violate international law and seriously threaten the safety of our citizens. All responsibility arising from the North Korean balloons lies entirely with North Korea, and we sternly warn North Korea to immediately stop its inhumane and low-level actions.”
The North Korean government does not even deny what it has done, just the opposite. It is reveling in it.
“Mounds of wastepaper and filth will soon be scattered over the border areas and the interior of the ROK and it will directly experience how much effort is required to remove them,” North Korea’s vice-minister of Defense Kim Kang Il said in a statement issued even before the trashy balloons were released.
And that is not all. Kim Yo Jong, the younger sister of North Korea’s dictator Kim Jong Un, actually said that this dirty deed has something to do with “freedom of expression.”
“We’ve done some of the things they always do, but I don’t know why they’re making a big deal like they’ve been hit by a shower of fire,” Kim said in a statement.
And if you live in the Western United States, be on the lookout for North Korean balloons. Some might have floated off course and headed east. You really don’t want to have a pile of North Korean poop laqnd on your head.
