Donald Trump’s former “fixer” Michael Cohen is continuing to reveal inside information about just how mean Trump can be, even to members of his own family. Now, Cohen has revealed that Donald Trump was hurtful to his own daughter-in-law.
The comments came during an interview with MeidasTouch political podcast.
“Donald didn’t even like her for many, many years. He didn’t want Eric to even marry her,” said Michael Cohen about the former first daughter-in-law. “

Cohen explained that Donald Trump “had found somebody else who was working at the Trump Organization that he wanted Eric to marry.”
Donald Trump is known for objectifying women and being dismissive of those he does not find attractive. The women who have worked for him in senior positions, even at the White House, could all be described as attractive.
Apparently, his misogyny also applies to family members, including Lara Trump. And not only that, the other Trump family members, including Ivanka Trump, were less than impressed by Lara Trump’s looks.
“Not only did Donald make fun of her (Lara’s) looks,” said Cohen, “but so, of course, did Don [Trump Jr.] and Ivanka. They all made fun of her looks. They just didn’t like her at all.”
Donald Trump did not even recognize Lara when she once spoke in support of his election campaign at a fundraiser when the former president watched her speech on television.
After saying how impressed he was with the content of the speech, Trump told Cohen, “Oh my God, that’s my daughter-in-law. That’s Lara Trump.”
“And from that moment on, as he called it, it was a love-fest,” said Cohen. “He [Trump] couldn’t stand her until she started kissing his ass. Well, what do you do when someone’s kissing your ass? Make them the co-chair of the RNC.”
Cohen pleaded guilty to various charges in 2018, including tax evasion, campaign finance violations, and making false statements, resulting in imprisonment and disbarment.
Michael Cohen published a book in 2020 titled “Disloyal: The True Story of Michael Cohen, Donald Trump’s Former Lawyer,” detailing his experiences working for Trump.
Michael Cohen remains an outspoken critic of Donald Trump and his actions, frequently appearing in media interviews and publishing online content sharing his experiences and perspectives.
