Sensos, an Israeli startup that provides supply chain services, raised $20 million in a Series A round of funding led by Mitsui-backed Magenta Venture Partners. This is more good news for Israel Startup Nation as it tries to move forward as the Iron Swords War in Gaza against the terrorist group Hamas continues.
This is also a testament to the fact that Israel is not just about cybersecurity firms.
Founded in 2022, Sensos is “moving supply chain management from reactive to proactive.” The company boasts that it’s new SaaS supply chain control tower, known as “Sync,” “seamlessly integrates” with the Sensos disposable cellular label. “This powerful combination offers a unified, real-time view of any shipment or inventory, all in one intuitive interface.”

Sensos provides End-to-End visibility over any shipment or inventory- without needing any infrastructure.
Since it was spun-off from Sony in 2022 Sensos has helped dozens of shippers digitize their supply chain, enabling them to run faster shipments, hold smaller inventories and achieve better production planning.
With a strong commitment to sustainability, Sensos continues to innovate with solutions that make supply chains more efficient. The size of a credit card, the Sensos label can be applied to any package with ease. The paper-thin label eliminates the too-common problem of bulgy trackers being knocked off.
“A significant portion of the investment will be directed towards expanding market presence through targeted sales and marketing initiatives, focus on research and development to refine the solution’s technological capabilities and address emerging challenges in the logistics space,” Aviv Castro, CEO of Sensos told Metaverse Post.
“The labels continuously monitor item location, status, and condition using global cellular connectivity. The AI-powered control tower serves as the central hub for data processing and analysis. It aggregates data from various sources, including the cellular labels, the client’s ERP/WMS systems, and external data streams,” said Castro.
