The Israel Defense Forces IDF continue to advance in Gaza on their mission to destroy the Hamas terrorist organization based there. This includes the destruction of Hamas bases, the location and destruction of its weapons and the elimination or capture of its terrorists.
In the area of Beit Lahia, located in the north of Gaza, IDF troops located approximately 100 rocket launching installations and 60 ready-to-use rockets. Hamas has launched thousands of rockets indiscriminately against civilian targets in Israel since October 7. Many were launched from below ground launchers built with metal pipes installed in Gaza by the EU for the benefit of Gaza’s civilians.
The troops eliminated dozens of terrorists during the activity to destroy the rocket launchers.
