Kanye West, the nutty rap singer and former Mr. Kim Kardashian – we will let you decide which of those aspects of his life was the more successful/embarrassing one – has issued a Christmas apology to the Jews of the world for his antisemitic comments and acts made over the years. To prove his sincerity, Kanye West made the apology in Hebrew.
Yes! You heard that right! The apology was posted on his Instagram account and it was in Hebrew.
In it, Kanye West said, “I apologize with sincerity to the Jewish community for any unintended attacks caused by my words.”

Kanye West went on to say that it was not his intention to “hurt or demean” people and that he very much regrets any pain he may have caused. West also said that he is committed to learning from this experience to” ensure greater sensitivity and understanding in the future.”
“Your forgiveness is important to me, and I am committed to making amends and promoting unity,” he declared.
The Hebrew used in the post must have come from Google Translate as it does not sound like spoken Hebrew.
So, will this help to improve the entertainer’s image?
Well, about a year ago Kanye West said “going death con 3 On JEWISH PEOPLE … You guys have toyed with me and tried to black ball anyone whoever opposes your agenda.”
No one at the time understood what exactly sparked that comment.
He also said “very human being has something of value that they brought to the table, especially Hitler … [Nazis] did good things, too … There’s a lot of things that I love about Hitler.”
There is a lot more but these examples should be enough for any normal person to judge.
The ADL – Anti-Defamation League – was not impressed. The organization, which has tracked Kanye West’s anti-semitic acts over the years, released a statement dismissing his comments as basically being “too little, too late” as it were.
“After causing untold damage by using his vast influence and platform to poison countless minds with vicious antisemitism and hate,” said the ADL, “ an apology in Hebrew may be the first step on a long journey towards making amends to the Jewish community and all those who he has hurt. Ultimately, actions will speak louder than words but this initial act of contrition is welcome.”
