In Kfar Chabad War Room, they continue the extensive activity of distributing large-scale equipment to soldiers and recruits on the front lines in the north and south of the country. The War Room, located in the village of Kfar Chabad, with over 500 volunteers from the area, work in close cooperation with the army units and representatives of the families, and it is considered a central War Room to which hundreds and thousands turn with requests for help from both the army and the families. As of today, three weeks after the start of the war, more than 127,000 military personnel and civilian evacuees have received assistance. Over sixty vehicles, commercial vehicles, and trucks were mobilized to verify every request from the army.
“We provide a variety of tactical military equipment, warm clothing, hygiene toiletries, electronics, almost everything a soldier and the army needs,” said Rabbi Eliyahu Guttman, executive director of the ‘Ezer Lahayal’ organization. In addition, Rabbi Eliyahu Guttman tells us about a unique and exciting project of the Chabad Hassidic community residents of Kfar Chabad alongside ‘Brothers and Sisters in Arms’ organization from Tel Aviv who volunteer in a military unit that deals with the issue of military ceramic armors and stretchers to ensure the security of the combatants.
