Best American Law Firms Tell Top Law Schools To Stop AntiSemitism and Hamas Support

Harvard Law School

Harvard Law School

As many as 60 of the most renowned law firms throughout the United States have signed on to an open letter calling on the country’s most prestigious law schools, like Harvard and Yale, to take action against the acts of anti-semitism and shows of support for the terrorist group Hamas in the weeks since Hamas’ barbaric attack on October 7.

The cat is out of the bag now, as it were, and no one can pretend anymore that they are not anti-Israel just because they criticize its policies regarding the Palestinians. Now the groups have all proven that they simply hate Israel and do not want it to exist with their chants about making Palestine free “from the river to the sea.”

And, no one can deny any longer that this hatred of Israel is a form of anti-Semitism. This is exactly what these law firms are saying. A group of only 27 who took part in this campaign grew to 60 in just a few days.

The letter was sent to America’s 14 top-ranked law schools. The graduates of these schools, which include Harvard and Yale, are pretty much guaranteed a job at a top law firm after they graduate. But now that is in doubt as more such firms are saying they will not hire those students who have engaged in protests that basically defend the slaughter of entire families, including the burning to death of babies, by Hamas.

“As educators at institutions of higher learning, it is imperative that you provide your students with the tools and guidance to engage in the free exchange of ideas, even on emotionally charged issues, in a manner that affirms the values we all hold dear and rejects unreservedly that which is antithetical to those values,” reads the letter. “There is no room for anti-Semitism, Islamophobia, racism or any other form of violence, hatred or bigotry on your campuses, in our workplaces or our communities.”

The letter went on to say that over the last several weeks its signatories have been alarmed at reports of anti-Semitic harassment, vandalism and assaults on college campuses, including rallies calling for the death of Jews and the elimination of the State of Israel.

“Such anti-Semitic activities would not be tolerated at any of our firms,” they wrote. “We also would not tolerate outside groups engaging in acts of harassment and threats of violence, as has also been occurring on many of your campuses.”

The authors told the schools that they “trust you will take the same unequivocal stance against such activities as we do, and we look forward to a respectful dialogue with you to understand how you are addressing with urgency this serious situation at your law schools.”

The letter comes as some law firms actually rescinded job offers to graduates due to their behavior since October 7.

And wealthy businessmen like Bill Ackman have ended financial support for their own alma maters like the Ivy League Schools Harvard and the University of Pennsylvania and have called on others to do the same. This is because the schools failed to act against students who applauded the Hamas terror attack.

Also, Bill Ackman has gone so far as to demand that Harvard reveal the names of all of its students associated with 35 different student groups at the university that condemned Israel and blamed it for the attack. Ackman says that prospective employers have a right to know such things before hiring an applicant.
