In a turnaround, Israeli insurance company Next Insurance, which happens to be a unicorn, raised $265 million in a strategic investment from Allstate and Allianz X, bringing its total investment to $1.1 billion. This comes just a year after the firm was forced to make layoffs. Meanwhile, Israeli analytics capabilities service provider Webiscope was acquired by fellow Israeli firm Innocom, the product distribution company from the Aman Group. The purchase price was not disclosed.
Founded in 2004, InnoCom calls itself a Value Added Distributor- the Israeli representative of IT companies and a promoter of innovative technologies for the Israeli IT market, focusing on advanced solutions for the communications and information security fields. Since its establishment, InnoCom has partnered with providers and local partners in many successful implementations of new IT technologies.
