Firmbase, an Israeli startup that offers a financial planning and analysis (FP&A) platform, launched its platform with a $12 million raise led by S Capital with participation from Meron Capital. And Unity SCM, another Israeli startup that provides a supply chain management solution, raised $8 million in a Series A round of funding led by Vertex Ventures Israel with participation from UpWest, Vertex Ventures US, Dan Scheinman, and Ariel Maislos, bringing the company’s total funding to date to $13.2 million.
Founded by CEO Amir Taichman, Unity SCM says that with built-in data adapters and an “easily configurable” supply chain data model, the company automates data collection and normalization with minimal need for IT resources. Unity SCM integrates with a wide range of data sources and easily adapts to inaccurate or incomplete supply chain data, freeing IT teams from the burden of not only complex data integration projects, but also minimizing risks, saving costs, and driving efficiencies at scale.
“Most supply chain modernization projects get bottlenecked waiting for scarce IT resources to connect the disparate data silos that lie beneath,” said Amir Taichman, CEO and Co-Founder of Unity SCM. “Every time supply chain teams try to cobble together a single view in emails and spreadsheets for a new project or fire drill, they create another virtual silo.”

It provides real-time visibility and together with the platform’s robust modeling engine allows companies to quickly build dynamic, flexible budgets.”
“With Firmbase,” he added, “finance teams increase productivity and benefit from natural language formulas, flexible workflows and an intuitive interface.
