Ezra Miller is famous for playing the superhero The Flash in the DC Cinematic Universe, but soon the actor could very well become more infamous than famous, as the accusations against him keep piling on. In the latest, he stands charged with grooming and “brainwashing” an underage girl and then “kidnapping” her when she came of age.
According to the family of one Tokata Iron Eyes, their daughter was “brainwashed” by Ezra Miller and taken against her will along with a number of other young women to an unknown location. Sara Jumping Eagle, her mother, filed a request for an order of protection for their daughter in the Standing Rock Reservation in North Dakota. The filing made by the family claimed that, “Ezra uses violence, intimidation, threat of violence, fear, paranoia, delusions, and drugs to hold sway over a young adolescent Tokata.”
While the order of protection was awarded by the Tribal court, it is not clear if it has any actual authority outside its own territory. Also, an order of protection for someone who is a legal adult, as Tokata is, usually must be requested by that person herself.

Tokata Iron Eyes is now 18, but the family asserts that Ezra Miller began his relationship with her when she was just 12 years old.
Sara Jumping Eagle Tweeted the other day, “Ezra Miller is spiritual voyeur dabbling in various indigenous peoples’ spiritual beliefs, combining w voodoo; using these beliefs vs Tokata Iron Eyes mind, luring more people in cult-like manner.” In another tweet she accused Miller of using voodoo on her daughter and giving Tokata LSD. In yet another the mother alleged, “Ezra ‘allows’ Tokata use Ezra’s phone w/ Ezra control. Ezra joins/takes over phone call. I spoke w Tokata 3 times on phone since Jan 2022, 2x Ezra was on phone, once Ezra’s mother was nearby.”
But most observers are probably asking what that has to do with the situation regarding her daughter. This could all be dismissed as the rantings of an overprotective mother angry that her daughter ran off with a celebrity like Ezra Miller and that she might be forsaking her family’s religion too.
Now 29 years old, Ezra Matthew Miller was born in New Jersey to a Jewish father and a Christian mother and identifies as a spiritual Jew. He began learning opera at the age of six and sang with the Metropolitan Opera. The actor identifies as non-binary – not being either male or female – and has never been married.
Ezra Miller got his start in a number of small roles on television on such popular programs as “Californication” and “Law and Order: Special Victims Unit.” But his big break was in getting cast to play The Flash – the world’s fastest man – in the 2016 movie “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.” Miller reprised the role in the 2017 movie “Justice League,” which saw all the big superheroes like Batman and Superman teaming up to fight against whatever bad guy.
And he is set to star in his very own movie next year playing the Flash yet again in the first motion picture based on a character called “The Flash.” But all of the negative press revolving around Miller in recent times has the movie studio worried about whether the movie should even be released. And the possibility of it becoming the next big franchise is probably next to nil.
Even if all of the accusations of “grooming” an underage girl and waiting for her to turn 18 in order to “steal” her from her family are proven false, the actor cannot afford any more bad publicity. This is just the latest in a series of acts of violence that Ezra Miller has been accused of perpetrating. In 2020 he was accused of assaulting a woman in a bar in Reykjavik, Iceland. In April Ezra Miller was arrested in Hawaii for second-degree assault in an alleged attack of a young woman.
But Takota does not seem to be concerned with her own safety right now. She posted a video on Instagram about Ezra Miller saying in it, “It’s nobody’s business and nobody is owed a story or outcome. This is my life and these are my decision and I’m disappointed in my parents and the press in every way.”
And she also posted a statement calling Ezra Miller her “comrade” and saying that he only ever provided her with “loving support and invaluable protection through this period of loss.”
