Israeli defense tech will be on display in Paris next week at the Eurosatory 2022 land and air-land defense and security exhibition in Paris. SIBAT, the Israel Ministry of Defense’s International Defense Cooperation Directorate, will lead leading Israel’s national pavilion there and showcase several Israeli defense firms and their new tech.

The Eurosatory exhibition will take place over 5 days from Monday, June 13, to Friday, June 17, in Paris. It is held every two years.

SIBAT, the International Defense Cooperation Directorate at Israel’s Ministry of Defense (IMOD), is uniquely positioned as an essential division within the ministry, while also maintaining a close relationship with the defense industry. Bridging between the industries and the defense establishment, SIBAT remains informed in a fast-paced and dynamic field, while also recognizing the operational needs of the IDF and the defense establishment as a whole.

Ophir Optronics will present its MKS Instruments Brand High performance IR thermal imaging lenses for C-UAS. C-UAS mission is to detect, identify and disable drone threats. Infrared (IR) based systems, is an essential part in such a multi-sensor types of systems. Ophir designs and manufactures precise, long-range IR continuous zoom lenses for integration into premier C-UAS platforms.
“Eurosatory is one of the largest and most important defense exhibitions in the world, and we are very proud of almost 60 Israeli defense industries participating this year,” stated the head of SIBAT, Brig. Gen. (Res.) in the IDF Yair Kulas. “We will present a wide array of ground-breaking technologies which integrate broad operational experience and provide solutions for varying challenges both on the current and future battlefields.”
15 Small and medium-sized Israeli firms will represent the country in total that Kulas said, “will present their cutting-edge, unique solutions at the SIBAT national pavilion, a reflection of the innovation and creativity of the Israeli defense industry.”
